I am new to this site and a long time Ford truck owner. Live in NE Washington state and must always have 4x4 due to the weather and back country roads. I will use this site for keeping up on everything about my last purchase.
Presently own a 2004 F150 scab long box 4x4, 5.4 with 24000 miles.
Not sure how to use this site yet and have a few operating questions.
1. What is a thread?
2. What is a post?
3. What is different about them?
4. What is a forum?
5. Is Title: above for a name or subject?
How do you use all of these and get answers to questions?
Thanks for this great site and all the information I have gathered so far.

A thread is one of the titles listed in a forum, and it is made up of the original entry and all the replies that follow. The entries are the posts.
A forum is one of the major divisions in the site the is labeled as a general catagory, depending on the intended subject matter.
This forum, as you have seen, is "General" meaning non-automotive subjects, such as "personal announcements & introductions."
Clearly you are on the right track.
