Bts transmisson
Whats a rough estimate of how much one cost? I want to start saving for one and want to know how much i will roughly need before i call him up.

Last call i made was 3900 completed + 1000 for core.

Mine shipped to my Mach. and installed was $5,200.00! plus a returnable core charge! That was 2 years ago!!

Yeah, I forgot that shipping is added on there as well, 300 for shipping sounds reasonable for a transmission. that would make it 5200 as Mobey stated.

Yup. 3900/1000, plus shipping. If you drive to him, he'll install it gratis.

I am driving down there for three reasons, one reason is to save on the core charge and to have him install it. I was quoted $3900 plus $120 for fluid, and $325 if i were to do the 6.0 cooler from him. However i plan to buy one for about half that and take it along with me so he can install it at the same time.

How long does it take him to install it I was just wondering how many days I will have to take off work when I figure mine is needed to be replaced?

I think they do it in one day with appointment and starting first thing in AM.

Patti told me to be there by 8:15am, because its almost a whole day deal. She said i would be on my way by 4:30-5:00 pm that same day.

thats cool i just checked out how far it is for to drive there 9 and a half hours WELL worth it i think
