I just had new chrome wheels put on my 07 F-150 4x4....Low tire pressure warning light stays on now ,I guess I gotta get some wheel sensors for the wheels, where can I get them?? From Ford dealer only?? My stock wheels I'm keeping my rough tread tires on till next winter and using my stock tires GENERALS on my new wheels...
i think this has been talked about before on here...do a search...but i think i've read that you can turn the tire pressure sensors off or someone figured out a way to trick the computer...
ok.....It's over $100.00 per wheel for a sensor I gotta find out how to get that light turned off or I'll just let it burn till I put my winter wheels&tires back on this winter...
I saw a post awhile back about this. I think they said to put the old sensors in a piece if PVC pipe that can be sealed and install a fitting on the end to put air in and pump it up and put it behind the seat. Do a search and it should come up, it was about a month ago. Hope this helps.
