both for 1967 F-100. Also what years will interchange with these parts? I am not having any luck in South East Texas finding a donor or parts at a salvage yard. Lost my axle & these are the parts I am left without finding. Thanks in advance for the help!!!
What part of SE Texas there 67owner? I have a couple of 67's myself. I'm residing in Houston currently. Stop by the Texas Chapter and say hi. On the list of Forums it's near the bottom. You can click the link in my signature. Welcome.
Thanks Mr. Dummy for the number info!! I am waiting for a call back from Stacy Brown at Antique Auto Supply in Arlington to see if the have NOS parts. I will keep you posted. Thanks again for the help.
I need some advice. I found the backing plate & retainer from a 1968 model. everything appears the same but the plate & retainer both have a 5th hole in them. My 67 retainer is rectangle w/4 corner holes that mount through the backing plate to the axle housing. Is there any reason that the 5th bottom hole will cause a problem? I was not able to bring the 5 hole retainer home & line it up w/my 67 4 hole but I do not see that it will cause a problem. Is there something that I am missing or will this work?
Thats the kind of answer I have been looking for! Did the 69 stuff have a fith hole in them versus the 4 holes in the 67 stuff (axle housing, bearing retainer, backing plate)?
