I have a 99 f-350, 7.3 ps diesel, white, cap, etc. I love this truck, it has about 310k miles on it and has had very few problems. I ahve no reason to buy a new one... except I'm bored with it! Does anyone have any suggestions on what I might do to frechen it up a bit.
I've seen the posts about replacing body parts with newer model parts, lifts, paint, etc. but need advice from someone who has felt this urge!
Thanks in advance!
PS- To all who helped me with my CPS problem, great diagnosis and instructions, saved me!
Do the front end converision then call dp tuner and get a pcm tune, then a 4 or 5" exhaust, and a tymar intake. Do all of this over a weekend and you could swear you bought a new truck.
www.7point3.com/mods.aspx scroll down to the bottom and check out some of the ideas. It will make it seam like a new truck for only 3 or 4 k depending on how far you want to go.
How is the interior? What about getting the seats recovered, adding some gauges to keep an eye on those other mods talked about. If it was my truck I would get a paint job and then get the leather redone in mine. Maybe some rims and tires. Just do a little at a time and before you know it, it will start looking better and better than 600 / month payment.
