Bronco weight
I have seen several numbers from 4000 - 6000 pounds for the weight of a full size Bronco. Did the older ones weigh that much more than the newer ones? I'm looking to buy a 1993, I found a number of 4250 pounds, is that correct?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 22-May-02 AT 01:24 PM (EST)]Here are some curb weights I found for 1980-1991 Broncos-'80&'81=4,083 lbs.,'82=4,079 lbs.,'83=4,254 lbs.,'84=4,311 lbs.,'85=4,373 lbs.,'86=4,267 lbs.,'87=4,420 lbs.,'88=4,532 lbs.,'89-'91 models=4,453 lbs.It doesn't list weights of '92-'96 models,but they should be close to the previous model years.Remember these weights are for Broncos with standard equipment.Any added options would make the vehicle's weight go up.My '90,with all its optional equipment weighs in at 4,750 lbs.I saw a roadtest of a '94.They listed the vehicle's test weight at 5,169 pounds.
