I want to put a 6 inch tip on to get a meaner sound what do you guys think and what is the best tip out there. I was looking at the Magnaflow 4x6x24" put i cant tell if its hallow or not anybody out there got it and what do you think

Don't have that one, but I have the MBRP 4"-6" tip that is 12" long and dual-walled. Just put it back on my truck after winter last week and love the differant exhaust tones I'm getting!
I would find one that you think looks good and go with it. The sound is going to be about the same for any of the 6" tips. A double walled tip is always good to keep the chrome from turning yellow due to the heat.
Another thing to think about, depending on where your exhaust exits is chrome or polished stainless steel. The rear tires pepper the crap out of anything and everything around them. Polished stainless steel will look better longer than chrome plated steel. You'll have no rust issues to deal with.
I had a 6x24" tip before i changed to stacks. To get the full effect of the megaphone style tip, i had to cut about 12" off of the pipe and only an inch or two was inside the tip. Really changed the sound for the better
So what sounds better? Rolled edge 5" tip or a dual walled tip either same size or a 6"tip? I have a rolled edge tip on my MBRP and might upgrade possibly.
