Just got my blackstone report back...... everything came back good,except for a little fuel in oil,in the precautionary range. it was a 4 and normal reading is 2. im just wondering if im looking at an injector starting to leak or what? the truck runs great,and hasn't given me one bit of trouble.....ever! Thanks The report told me to test again in 3000 miles for further analaysis>
no....runs pretty steady, first blackstone,and i havent had a bit of trouble! and it runs excellent! talked to my ford dealer and they said....bring it in,they wanna run their own test. So we'll see what happens.
Might do a few short trips, but I try to take it out and get er good and hot and run it the way "she likes to be run." I pull a 14 foot utility trailer on a regular basis,haulind 4 wheelers and such. Thanks
There is a flash out that bumps the idle up after just a short minute or so of idling (my '07 came it with the stock) -- tho I think the primary purpose of this is to prevent coking up the egr. Also saw another guy here that reported back to back UOAs before and after installing the high idle mod -- that took care of his higher than normal fuel in oil...
