I put my stock tune back in for some service and on the way back I got better mileage with the stock tun evs. the 60 hp tune.....no reflash...any ideas or has anyone else seen this?
Thanks
Were you driving the same with the stock tune? Where you going off of the overhead console?
With mine set at 60hp I drive differently than stock. I am in it a little harder and up to speed much quicker. Just can't keep my foot out of it yet. I do still get better mileage with it at 60hp if I drive the same....
Also when I have the tune in the overhead meter is about 1 1/2mpg off compared to that I am actually getting. Hand calculated is better mileage is actually better than the meter...don't really know why but it is
i leave mine on the 60hp tune all the time on my 2006 have had it in the truck for the last 30000 miles, i always get 14-16mpg, the power difference from stock to a performance tune is addictive, i do not like driving it to and from the dealer without the tune in, thats the only time the tune is not in the truck...........is for dealer work, i am afraid to run the 100hp tune because of head bolts and head gasket issues, any one had any issues with the 100hp tune ?
