Overhead Storage,etc
Hey Guys,
Need some overhead storage in my 95. They use to make a product called SHELF-IT I found a site that sells them but they tell me their discontinued for a 95 Bronc. Anybody got any ideas? Or any other ideas?If I had the time I'd try to build a real cool one.Also my 87's console was much bigger then the 95, should I just search the boneyards for one? Any ideas would be appreciated.

This has come up times in past posts. Well you may find one wondering around the wreckers. Its good exercise and who know what else you will find. I searched for 1 year or so . Only found one on eBay which I bought. After 3 trucks and alot of abuse its seen better days. So I'm looking for another . I'm a wood worker but that would be to heavy. I might make a mold and take to local tube manufacture and have a F/glass one made.Good luck on search

I made one out of pine shelving. My brother used to have one back when I was a kid in his 79 F-150. I helped him put it in so I remembered how it was assembled. Using what I recalled...I made my own. It turned out great and mounts to the visor screw holes, the side window trim molding and 2 holes I had to drill in the front. I have my equalizer, aux light switches and 2 tweeters mounted in it. There is also a small cubby above the driver's seat to hold my sunglases. Overall, it took about a day to make it and then a week for the stain to dry.
