Fan shroud missing?

The usual problem~part mis-described~Will NOT fit a Bronco~or a 77/79 with a 351M/400~In fact it won't fit very much at all.
What it WILL fit is a 73/74 360 engine with manual transmission, standard cooling. D3TA-BA = D3TZ-8146-A
P!sses me off when I see fleabay listings like this!

Number, the guy most likely listed all years and models for search engines to pick up his listing so he can turn a buck. Any guy who is into classics ought to have a huge parts book handy, anyway.

I was the winning bidder (at $15K) on an all original 1963 Galaxie HT with 14,000 miles. I told the seller before I bid, that purchase was subject to inspection. He agreed. The car was bought by the ebay seller from the personal collection of a former Ford dealer. The inspector I hired found the dealer had redone the interior, spot painted it, had all the aluminum trim re-anodized. And, a lube sticker was found from 1978 that showed the car had 87,312 miles at that time. The mileage was 114,000. Needless to say, I didn't buy it.

Man, that sucks. I would hate to have been that e-bay seller when he found out the Galaxie he bought with 14k on it really had 114k. I hope he did not pay too much for it. (But he probably did, thinking it only had 14k)

That's what a lot of ebay sellers do...list every possible yr the part could conceivably fit. Someone buys it..and guess what?
