Is there anyway you can put up one thread that is to be used only for yes i will be there replies. I dont mean to sound like an a-hole but we need a solid count to make this happen and discussing how when where why isn't accomplishing anything. obviously everyone cant be accomidated and some people will be put out but hey that's life make the best of it. seems to me we need to either cancel as a chapter thing and those who want to go ahead and show up and use this as a learning experience do so. we can put our heads together at one table and work out the details for a future event that will work because all the little trivial details will be worked out in the background before it is announced, just a thought and my two cents worth.

I agree 4rdrules. Unless I get a yes to 15 or more people I'm canceling the GTG. I can't do everything to suit everyone. When I go to other truck GTGs I get my own place to stay & just expect the truck club to supply the place to meet. With a head count I could find a motel close to the GTG & probably get a discount rate with a decent number of reservations. I'd be happy to reserve a place to meet & have a GTG but I need to know how many are attending first. It I did all this work a few yrs back for another Ford truck site & got stuck with the 1/2 bill. One member of the club split the cost with me. I rented a pavilion & bought food & supplies to feed 50 + people & only 10 trucks showed. I don't want to do that again.

Well there isn't much interest in this G2G. I'm calling it off. Maybe we can get something else going at a later date.

Dutch the date for the MIM BBQ was May 19th. I don't see enough interest from this headcount to have it.
