a/c clutch

on a 1998 f-150 4x4 s-cab,how big of a job is it to change the clutch on the a/c compressor and any idea what the cost of a new clutch vs a new compressoris?

if i'm not mistaken you may need a special tool. a clutch is going to be much cheaper than the whole compressor.

just had this done at a local shop for about $250. well worth the money. would have been a bear of a job in my garage. didn't have to worry about ac problems down the road.
