Surge Question?

i have a 1.0 turbine housing and i was told that this alone will eliminate surge?? is this true? i currently have a WW in my turbo, but when my last turbo took a crap the WW rubbed the intake housing a little and at the time when i needed a rebuilt turbo i had to reuse the slightly damaged WW.(time crunch) i am thinking about replacing my current WW with a stock wheel i picked up for free, but i dont want surge. so will i get surge with a stock compressor wheel and an aftermarket 1.0 turbine housing??

good question I too want to know if 1.0 housing will be sufficient and I can switch back to my reg wheel?

i havent heard of the 1.0 turbine housing curing surge,
the only real cure for surge with the stock wheel is the ported ATS housing, as the WW only moves the surge as i have read here.

I have not heard that the 1.0 exhaust housing cures surge, only lowering egts. Pick up an ATS ported intake housing and a stock compressor wheel and be done with it.
