cleaner shifts
hi yall i have an 01 f250 sd with the 4r100 and i was wondering why it shifts sluggishly and what i can do i sharpen them. what would be a good shift kit,
tranny cool, and torque converter.. i use this truck to haul a 4 place horse trailer loaded. I would really like the shifts to be cleaner, and sharper.

I installed a Transgo kit in mine and it shifts quicker and firmer. The kit is designed for tow and performance vehicles. There is a valve body plate in the kit you drill out to customize the shift firmness. To install the complete kit it requires transmission removal, but you only have to do that if you want to modify the converter lock-up. I only pulled the pan and modified both valve bodies.
