Broken Shift Selector - O/D Switch Housing. Need Help
After completing the spring detail event on the Aero today, I went to move it out of the garage and broke the plastic part at the end of the shift selector which houses the O/D switch and light. Anyone else had to replace this? I haven't taken a super good look at it yet, but I can't figure out how the plastic end attaches to the selector arm. Anyone??

PS: She looks REAL good ater her detail today. I'll post a few pics later on today. 99 degrees here in PHX today!!
I just recently bought my van with the exact same problem you have described. The plastic piece cannot be reattached but you can easily swap the whole shifter. It is connected to the assembly in the steering column by 1 pin. All you have to do is get a replacement from a wrecker or the dealer and swap it out.
Its a quick 20 minute job.
Hope this helps!
