Computer code reading question hesitation 5.8L
So as you might have read my 5.8L has this hesitation/stumble. Auto zone will read the computer codes with there little magical box. Question?
1) Should I disconnect the battery for 10 minutes to completely clear the computer, drive for a while and then check the codes?
2) If the check engine light is not on, will it still register faulty codes for this problem?
3) Truck passed MA emission test last month with no issues, numbers very good.
4) Things done so far: major tune up, ICM, injector cleaner, took on highway and beat on.
