New gauges

I am seeking everyones opinion on their favorite brand of gauges, pics in galleries would be nice. I have horse traded my gauge pod and gauges to a buddy who did not have any, and no money to buy a new set up.
Since I know what my normal day to day temps are I think I will be o.k. for a week or so( no towing the 5er till new ones are installed)

I had black faced Auto meters, and they were fine, but I think I want a white faced gauge now. I have been looking at the ISSPRO's, and I like them.

Comments, good, bad, ugly.

If you are talking about the Z series gauges those are 3 of my gauges which i am currently working on upgrading to the sport comp2s. IMO they look extremely close to stock, if they only had a green led in them instead of the white. I wonder if autometer would change them. Ill post pictures as soon as get back home from my trip.

If you're old like me and wear bifocals, then you'd know that US Gear is the only way to go, so you can focus on all three at once! They also allow you to keep your eyes on the road and see the gauges at the same time. I don't have a pic, but mine are mounted on the dash in front of the steering wheel.

ISS-PRO are very nice gauges, going on the Mrs Excursion. Another options is the DiPricol, I have those on my truck now.

Thumbs up Where did you get the LED's?

I absolutely LOVE the ISSPRO gauges I have. I have a set of 6 and have heard about the LED's you can replace the standard bulbs with but haven't seen any yet. Does anyone know where you can get the little LED's for the gauges? Go with the ISSPRO's. They match the factory gauges as far as the black background and red needles with green background lighting. They are easy to read and calibrated very nice and easy to comprehend the values at a glance. When you shut the truck off and they all go back to "0", the needles all rest in the same place as they have what is called 270* sweep on the needles. I like that from my old racing days.

Gauge LEDs

Not sure if any of your are still looking for LEDs, here is a company I have ordered from numerous times. They have ALL automotive LEDs and LED lighting and are cheap. I replaced all my dash lighting and indicator lights with the crisp look of the LEDs....enjoy! www.superbrightleds.com

I did the LED light upgrade to all of my outside lights, and i also added three LEDs to my pillar gauges and it looks alot better than it did before. SuperbrightLEDs also. They were the wedge type, 4 led.
