I have a 351C in my 60 F100 that is bored and stroked to 377CI. It was a flat out race set up with solid lifters 4 barrel heads, roller rockers, Forged domed pistons and headers. I purchased a 351 Block (D2AE-CA) Overhauling it and using a milder cam with hyd. lifters. I'm doing this so I can burn pump premium instead of the racing gas diet of the previous. I'll be using my 4 barrel heads and flat top pistons.
My question is; do you think there is any market anymore for my old bored and stroked 377ci short block with the domed pistons? I also have some 2 barrel heads that appear lo milege since overhaul and othe misc. Cleveland parts to get rid of. Any suggestions?
those 4v heads are way too much for street imo. You could sell those and have enough to buy some aussie 2v's that will give you a lot of lower end improvement and still make good power...with some economy to boot.
4v heads are getting some attention on ebay and i wouldn't be surprised to see closed chamber 4v go for 800 plus shipping and open chamber 500 +.
not sure about a short block...i'd like one to play with for sure. I have a 75 stang II just itching to go really fast on the track.
