AOD for a c-4

AOD for a c-4
'84 f150 300 2wd
She currently has a C-4 but i want a trans with OD
From what i can tell the AOD is the only vacuum controlled auto with OD.
Has anyone done a swap like this? is it even possible?
if it is possible what changes would i have to make?

Yes the swap is doeable.
The AOD does not use vacuum but relies heavily on a properly adjusted throttle pressure cable.
Without it the transmission will self destruct in a few miles.

actually now that i think about it the c-4 isn't vacuum controlled either. is it?
does anyone know what has to be done to make this swap possible?
also, would a mustang AOD or and f-150 AOD be better?
