Question Vac Advance Diagram

I have a 302 in my truck. The dizzy has two ports for the vac lines. From what I've found searching the postings, the second port is for reducing emissions on decellaration, or at least that's how I understand it. According to some it never really worked well. Was for cars according to the posts I found. PO must have changed it out. I'll run it till I can repace it wth the right distibutor. I should be getting better mileage and performance I think. ( 12 mpg aint good. It's 2wd BTW Most claim 16 mpg or Better around here on the boards ) Anyhow, does anyone have a diagram to show the correct routing of the hoses? I'd like to make sure it's correct till the changeover. The Chiltons book I have doesn't give much detail on this.

The front vac port on the distributor was connected to the "ported" vac port on the carb (on a Holley, this is the one on the pass. side of the main metering block) The rear port was for the deccelleration retard, this was connected to full manifold vac, by way of a vacuum switch on the T-Stat housing.

Thanks baddad 457 for your reply. I would've checked here sooner but had power supply breakdown on 'puter. Will check and make sure hoses are correct this weekend. Thanks again!
