Spring Hanger Kit
I have a 03 350 thinking of buying 5" spring hanger kit by rough country. Has anyone used any hanger kits before? Just orderd bilstein 5150 for the kit. BTW was told hanger kits offer a smoother ride than replacing the springs.

I don't know much about rough country but I would have gone with Donahoe racings 4.5 hanger lift. The good thing about the hanger kits is they are really easy to install if you do it yourself and from what I hear you don't need an alignment. The best thing about them is they are CHEAP!! I have owned 2 lifted chevy's. An avalanche and a tahoe, both of which had 6 inch lifts that I installed. Installing a lift on a Ford SD is a joke and cheap compared to lifting a Chevy! The independant front suspension lifts on chevy's are a PITA. Thank god I converted to Ford. I will never go back.
