Nope, nobody makes one, and due to lack of interest, nobody ever will.........probably.

At least these were the words of Dustin Whipple when I talked to him about a year ago. Kenne Bell's people told me the same thing.

Stay tuned though, I will have on operational custom turbo setup done sometime in the next month or so. Once it's done, my tuner/fabricator and I are looking at producing a few kits to sell to those that want a little more.

Anybody wanting in on this PM me and I'll be sure to keep everyone informed once my kit is done.

I was told that you can buy used superchargers for the 3v. Correct me if i am wrong but i remeber someone saying that they used to make them for the 3v but there was no market for it so they discountiuned it.

The earlier 2V superchargers have been discontinues by both KB and Whipple. Niether of them ever brought one to market for the 3V. You may get lucky and find one for an earlier 2V motor if some dealer somewhere has one collecting dust on a shelf someplace.

Whipple built 1 for a SEMA show truck back in '05 and there websire said "coming soon" for about 2 years on that kit, but has been recently updated to now show nothing at all for the V-10 kit. They did offer to sell me everything I needed to build my own kit, but that included 2 5.4L 3-V manifolds that I would have to get someone to build 1 V-10 manifold for.

To go through that much trouble, I just didn't think it was worth it. It is easier to build the turbo system. Besides, the turbo setup will make way more torque and HP than any S/C system pound for pound of boost.

DD of the D

Being a turbo man myself with a ton of experience in this I wish you a lot of luck

Not being pessimist or dumping on your project I am sincere

Remember the thermoplastic Variable Volume computer controlled plenum will be you biggest challenge

I trust you already figured out the turbos have to be the small form ones placed up front so be careful of the heat and shield well to keep the FEAD belt happy

I've got it figured, my '05 Mustang had a similar CMCV plate setup on the intake, and they have been removed altogether and turned off in the tune. It never really affected the low-end either. The turbo itself will be remote located in about the same location as the stock airbox.

I looked at doing twins but I'm not planning to go crazy with it, so just going with a single 67mm. It is capable of supporting way more power than I plan to make with this truck.................for the moment anyway.

I was afraid you were going to say that (single vs twin)

It will most likely work well and I will be very interested in the results

The reason I think twins are going to be required is this motor seems very sensitive to exhaust "Balance" based on the 20 or 25 runs I have personally witnessed on a dyno while different 2v V10s were tuning for dual exhausts.... the final part that made the most difference was the "H" or X" piping on the true duals... that told me a lot about the "balance" need or sensitivity to unbalance however you want to look at it

ON the other hand the lengths you are going to work with to get pass side over to turbo inlet are not great if you plan reversed manifolds so maybe I am being too critical....

Good luck

Keep us posted

Gotta a Procharger on the Mustang, and I'm not interested in spinning the crap out of the v-10 to make power. Centri's also make the lowest torque numbers of any power adder.

Reversing the passanger side header, is one of the reasons I'm not trying to do small twins first, There just really isin't much room on that side. The Pass side exhaust will be routed over to the drivers side, as both will feed the turbo, so I'm hopeing that should help eleviate any exhaust unbalance. I plan to run EGT gauges on both sides to monitor as well.
