oil leak
I have a 2004 F250 with a 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel. I have what appears to be oil on the under side of the hood, right in the center. It looks like it has been sprayed on like maybe the fan is blowing it on there.
A friend of mine said he knew a guy that had something similar that was the cack tubes. He said there was some faulty clamps that Ford is replacing with a different style. I am having a hard time scheduling an appointment with the dealer because I drive a truck coast to coast and don't get much notice when I have to go.
I don't know what cack tubes are or if I'm spelling that correctly. Thanks for your help!
