I have a 92 Bronco w/ 302 engine. I am thinking of scraping the two cat. converters, and installing a 50 series Flowmaster Muffler. Anyone have any experience with scrapping the cats? Does this affect the performance at all? Will it still run w/o the cats?

I've done it on my 86. Can't tell you much about performance though. Only had Bronco for about a month before I rebuilt the motor and put the new exhaust on it. It runs good w/out the cats but, I have no reference to compare it to. The only thing I am slightly disappointed with is the Flowmasters series 40 the have a high tinny pitch to them, not the deeper full sound I was looking for. Hope this helps, Good Luck,
