Oil burnin'??

Hi guys. I've got a '99 5.4 148000... Changed the oil about 1800 miles ago and the oil is a quart low. I've had the gaskets replaced about 50k ago...
I don't see any leaks...Do these things burn it that fast?

Probably from piston ring wear.

Ford says that 900 miles per quart is acceptable.
I wouldn't be too happy if mine used that much but that's what they say.

!

Wow! 900 per quart! I think mine has always pretty much used this much since I've owned it. I bought it with 33k. If it were rings, I would think I'd see blue smoke....
