vin nuber on frame
i have a 1/2 ton 4x4 frame that i thank is an mid to late 80s where can i find the vin number it has a fuel ingicted 351w auto and im going to put a 1972 body on it i know there will be a lot of work but i thank it will be worth it

I have not owned a 80's model in years but on the older models (61-79) some have them under the cab (passenger side) also, and dont have them on the front frame stub right behind the core support.

ps. I cut that piece off of a junk truck (because of how they bend) it is leaned up against a 351W in the yard and it does not have the numbers on it.
