Dash question

thanks but no thanks. i got in the truck this morning and for whatever reason realized for the first time that the dash is massive and its all plastic. wished that it had the squishy-type dash that my old ranger had in it. dont know what that stuff is but it looked less cheap and felt better. no big deal, i'm sure it'll pass but it irritated me that 20k wont buy something other than a plastic dash.

That's one of my gripes as well. All that hard plastic on the dash causes squeaks and rattles as the many different panels bump into each other as you drive down the road. I tell you that the plastic is a lot tougher then it looks however, as everyone once in a while Ill give the top of the dash a good hit to try to stop a squeak.
It would help a lot if the dash was one piece like the last gen f150. That would cut down on the squeaks.
