If any of you are interested in adding a navigation system to your Superdutys, I just added one that fits nicely in the dash. The Pioneer AVICD3 has nav, CD, DVD and XM. You can even add XM traffic which shows instant alerts of any traffic issues up the road. My King ranch has a wood grain trim so the 1/2 inch black border of this unit does clash a little, but overall I'm very happy with the looks and function of this unit.
Pioneer just started making this unit, so you might have to wait a little to find it. Retail is right at $1000 which makes it very reasonably priced versus other similiar units. If you've been looking to upgrade the factory radio, this is an obvious candidate.
I've been thinking about trading in my Kenwood DDX7015 for a pioneer unit. I really like their GUI over the Kenwood. And the navi maps are a lot prettier! :P
Hey farmer, do the steering wheel controls still work with the new radio?
Yes!! although you do need to purchase a SWIPS adapter for it to work, I think the unit is a PAC-SWIPS.
Also I forgot to add a neat feature that allows easy use/connection of an ipod. This unit will actually display the ipod clickweel on the touch display for immediate and complete control of the ipod. You can wire the ipod hookup unit to the glovebox and never have to touch it as it charges the unit up. ($30 pioneer ipod cable)
