The stock exhaust manifolds might work, you didn't mention your application, but by not installing headers you'll pass on the best cost per HP/torque increase possible on the 460. The exhaust port on 385 series heads was seriously compromised by Ford having to fit the engine between shock towers on it's intermediate models and anything you can do help exhaust flow is a big plus.
L&L claims a 40hp increase with their headers and I can believe it. As an example, a set of DOVE heads properly ported and with larger valves will add 100hp to an engine running the usual afermarket cam, headers, manifold, carb, ignition and stock DOVE heads.
Mayorman, You need to get a hold of a set of truck 460 exhaust manifolds. I think the drivers side is the same for a car and truck , but the passenger side requires a truck manifold to clear the frame, and it will fit fine. You can use them off of a fullsize 460 powered van also. They are the exact same manifold as the truck ones. I have a set of 79 460 E-series van exhaust manifolds on my 82 3/4 ton 4x4 and they work fine.
