long tube headers
hello i have a 89 f150 with 302 5-speed 4x4 short box. i want to put long tube headers on it. can anyone give me some direction as to a brand that requires minimal tweeking to get them installed? i know the rest of the exhaust will have to be changed out, but that is easy. my main concern is having to cut the frame, i dont want to do that. shorty headers would be easiest but i like the look of long tubes and from what i understand they perform better. please help nearing the end of engine build want to get ducks in a row. thanks

I used the Hedman Elite series. I did have to use a 4" grinder to remove about 1/4" of frame where one of the tubes was contacting. It was a 2 min fix. I had the muffler shop weld in a O2 sensor bung in the pipe after the collector. My truck is a 302 2WD though. I dont know how the 4wd will affect it.
