gas tank
I need to know if there's a way to clean out a gas tank? I feeled the tank before i know pump was bad gas was in it for over a year and it smells bad got gas out and going to put new pump in

eastwood sells the lineing kit. pull out the tank and get you a length of chain. remove the sending unit and drain tank. let sit over night and the resadue will evaporate. now take the chain (about 3 or 4 feet) and drop it in the sending unit hole. find a freind its easier and shake the ---- out of it turning it every whitch way to get the chain to hit every spot. dump out the chain and all the dirt and rust you just broke up. rinse out the tank with plenty of freash water till all the crap is out of there. let air dry. then line it with the eastwood kit.
