I am going to a ladder bar setup on a 94 f-150. do any of you guys run a ladder bar setup on leaf springs with a floater? if so who makes a floater to fit f-150 leaf springs?
With close to thousand ponies it may be time to step up to a four link, or at least have a suspension shop work with you to optimize your traction issues.
I want to stay with the leaf springs and stock type shocks to stay in a stock suspension class. once you go coil over or 4-link you are basically lumped in with full out race trucks.
Mine is still streetable and driven occasionally on the street to shows or cruise nights.
I have a link (still looking for it) to a full size bronco (4X4) bronco that can do wheelstands. He's running a hybrid leaf spring setup that might work for you to keep you in your class. The Bronco is doing high 10's right now.
That's Pat's Bronco. He still runs leaf springs with some modifications, twisted the snot out of axles until getting the 40 spline installed. Check his Super Motors site, he posted lot's of info on his setup.
