I'm confused about the front end of my 95, gas, f350. It pulls toward which ever direction I last turned toward. If I turned left it pulls to the left when I straighten out and vice verse. Everything seems tight under there except the tracking arm has just a tiny bit of play. Any ideas?
Sounds a lot like bad balljoints. go in front of your truck about 20 feet and see if your tires are sitting like /---\(when last driven in forward, not reverse) It might be hard to see with a solid front axle. Another way is to jack your front end up, grab the bottom of the tire and pull it forward. There theres play doing that, its bad balljoints.
What your encountering is called "memory steer" which is due to old ball joints.
Unless your HARDCORE mudding, I would go with Moog ball joints. Best I have heard, and have had mine in my ttb with 33's for about 20,000 miles so far. If not, make sure you get greasable balljoints
