OK someone was right about the blower problem. When you give the bronco gas it changes the air flow of the vent or ac from the front to the defroster vents. When you let off the gas it returns to the front vents. Someone suggested it was caused by a vacum leak. Would this be inside the cab or in the engine area?

The leaks can be inside or out. Most likely it is outside. Check your vacuum lines first then check your reservoir to make sure it's holding. Also check the other vacuum lines like the one to the brake booster ect. If those are all good then go to the inside lines and the switch itself. You'll need a hand held vacuum tester unless you just want to visually inspect the lines.
