Tire Size

Hello new to FTE, Live in Barrie, Ontario Canada. This might be a stupid question but i want to ask anyway. I own a 1993 F150 4X4 Flareside. It originally had 235/75r15 tires on it and now when i bought it they have put 31x10.5x15 on it. Is it possible to go to 33's with out lifting it or will they rub somewhere on the frame or wheel wells. Thanks for your help....Neil

I'm not sure if you could fit 33s without a lift but I wouldn't think so, because I have a 4" lift with 33s and I very occasionally get a bit of rub if I'm turning and going into a driveway or something that flexes the suspension out a bit. Now this is VERY occasionally, but I would think that if I EVER get rub with 4" over your truck then you might have some issues... Could be wrong here...

31" is the most you can run with out rubbing without a lift, 32s will rub at full lock, It does vary slightly on the brand of tire and size of wheel you have.
