thanks ford

first the good.i was told today by my ford dealer they were going to replace my unevenly worn hankook factory tires on my 05.now the not so good, the new tire is the same poor performer.i think i will remove them right away ,sell them cheap and put the money into a better tire.the tire has only made it to 20k,at least with the free replacement i could get 40k.

They should be updating the alignment specs to prevent early failure on the new set. There is a TSB out on it. So if you get 35K from the second set plus the 20K on this first set you didnt do bad considering you didnt pay anything additional but your time to get it done.

I am not a Fan of the Hankooks either.. initially I had Front end alignments done @4500 and @ 7400 miles.. the 7400 mile alignment did the trick... though I am NEVER going back to that dealer for service again.. bunch of IDIOTS!@#!@#!

With that being said, I almost have 15,000 on my HanKooks, I have been rotating them every 5,000 as recommended.. So far they are an OK tire and I have had even tread wear. However I don't see these tires lasting more than 30K.
