Heated seat Replacement?
My sis just gave me a deal on her 2001 x limited, but it has some minor issues.
Right now looking to find a replacement element for the drivers heated seat, most of the aftermarket kits say you cant use your stock switch.
Anybody have any luck on finding a Company that sells the replacment for this?

seat kits
I was looking at the seat kits but they all say that you need to use all there supplied hardware and cant used your stock switch.
Anyone seen a source of stock type element to install in place of the stocker?
Tried ford parts online wth no luck on a OEM one.

Went down to the local dealership and the element is $62, they say its only the element, no seat cushion with element built in.
Just called a Cali. dealership and they say different, the bottom cushin with elemnt built in is the only way to replace( $270) lumbar element $70.
Shouldnt all the dealerships be on the same page, I gave the vin to both.

Gonzo - tried your local "wrecker" yard ? - most of them have parts locators now and can sometimes find what you need....
My "lil girl" smashed two stock rims on her nice 02 lincoln LS cutting across an exit ramp too fast
- she liked the chrome ones my wife had on hers, so called one of the local yards around and he found 4 replacements for 1/4th of what new would have been - WITH tires...
they worked well until she traded hers in....
