How to remove the raido

Just bought a 07 F150 and wanted to check and see if the raido came with pre amp out puts? my friends 04 haas them, but I do not know how to remove the face plate.





07 F150 TEXAS ED. 4.6 V8

It's really easy to get to... if the 07 is like 04 - you just pull it off. It will take a good bit of stress without breaking. The radio is held in place by 4 screws... 1/4" i believe (been awhile since I took mine out).

Actually I think its 6mm or 8mm that hold the radio in. That faceplate now can be tough to get off the first time its held it there pretty good

open the ash tray,
then tug quickly at the bottom of the radio bezel
there are 3 pairs of spring clips holding it on
disconnect the airbag light at the top and swing the bezel out of the way

the radio will not have RCA preamp outs

it has two harness connectors for 6disc radios
and a third (sub output) for audiophile
