gauges fogging up ?

gauges fogging up ?

my trans temp gauge fogs over wtf?, anybody else have this happen....any ideas?

nope. i dont think the style of gauges i have could ever fog over. they get warm after they have been on for a while. yet another reason i really like them.

Empiretc, if you were up here in Rockport with me they'd probably fog up. After dinner the other night (I parked literally on the waters edge) the in and out sides of my truck were a sopping mess, and that was before the rain came the next day. Try 110% humidity if there is such a thing!

There has been a few cases of some autometers fogging out. Autometer will replace the gauges for you. You can call their tech support line directly.

Austin, with a name like that, I thought there was something cool about that, Yes Austin does miss you..I have been here since 69..middle school, high school, ACC..

The traffic is a mess here though..

just drive around with your lights on for a few days... lots of perfectly good gauges fog up when you first get them. if the problem persists, then send them back... but they/you should be fine in a couple days.

problem is Ive had them for about 8months and the trans just started doin it, the pyro and boost are ok though

Send it back to whom you bought it from, they should waranty it..If not give me a yell and I will help you out if the site vendors dont step up..

You have a one year warranty on them. Autometer will warranty them, if you have problem, call me and I will take care it for you.
