drive line question
Ok I have A 03 DIESEL 6.0 with electronic t-case if it makes a diif. When i put her in 4 wheel drive it works mint but, when i take it out of 4x4 mode the left front makes a noise when turning. It has been 2 weeks since 4x4 was engagued. It sounds like the left front hub is still in 4x4 any sugestions of what this might be? Its a clunking sound. only in turns and only at 5mph or faster and its a new hub.

Front hub may not be unlocking. Turn your front wheels to the left. Reach in behind the front wheel and grab the U-joint. If your hub is in the Auto position it should be able to turn. If it does not, it is not unlocking or it is mistakinly been put into the lock position. Could be something like wheel bearings or ball joints as well.
