Transmission Code?
All right...I have searched and searched and can not find my answer on here. What are the codes for the transmissions and how are they posted on the Vehicle ID tag...Im am not near the truck now and do not remember seeing it on the tag! Getting ready to change the fluid in my 02 FX4 5.4L...I believe it is the 4R70W which holds Mercon V...but I want to make sure, not sure what transmissions the E40D or 4R100 stand for....Thanks...

Thanks All...I ended up finding it on a last search last night, 4R70W it is! I could not find that chart in the Articles/Spec section anywhere. I know it used to be there...did the website change, did it move...maybee Im just missing something, ha!
