Gas Tank

i was wondering if anyone knew how to go about removing the rear tank on an f-150 and plugging the lines that lead to it. do they make plugs or do i need to make my own.

You will need to make own plugs. And I don't know about fuel return . I usually add tanks not take them off. Course most people don't put over 500 miles a week on my truck. Good luck

(Rusted right on those straps, right?) I usually run the truck about empty before removing the fuel tank. Either that or it drips out like usual. It's a pretty simple process. Just remove the Two straps and the in and out hose's. The hardest part is getting the inlet hose back on.

i am going to leave it off for other reasons but i already plugged the in and out lines and they dont leak do i need to do anything with the other hose the inlet i believe is what it is.

could the sender for the back tank work in the front?i might do the same thing

it should, im not real sure my tank was just rusted to crap and i dont use it anyhow.
