life is a joy!
Anyways i was wondering if anyone has been following jay browns dyno experiments.
I discovered that the edelbrock performer rpm intake is capable of 300+ cfm stock, thanks to jdc on network54. I had previously believed the rpm was holding my combo back, but thats not the case. I had also believed the blue thunder intake to be superior as far as dual planes go, but the rpm is right there and better in come cases.
I got to thinking about reporting my current cylinder heads, as i know it was nothing real fancy and one of my earlier porting jobs. More or less my knowledge is ever expanding. Thens there that monkey wrench owi charge last night! I guess i still have nine days to drive the old 79 around.
enough of my oddball ramblings!
Yea I've been following all the stuff over there. The intake flow comparison by Joe is equally as informative as all Jay's testings. I can wait to see the big cube stuff coming up over the summer!! Pretty cool and this is like Mythbusters for FE's. Better than TV!!
G.
Porting cylinder heads is quite the time consuming activity; if you need something to do.
Yeah, sorry about the OWI. Cant say I relate though, I keep it at one beer. I can make one beer last a looooong time.
