speedometer cable
I have a 72 F-600 truck that the speedometer doesn't work, and I'm pretty sure that the cable is broke. Can I use one of those generic replacement cables if the sheathing is good, or would it be better to replace the whole assembly? It is a very long cable with a gear end on it where it goes into the tranny. As to the replacement ,where would be some good stores or websites to check into it? Thanks
