Tailgate
'82 Bronco. I can't get my tailgate to close all of the way on the driver's side. It latches but won't shut completely (kind of like when you don't shut the doors). Are they set up the same way, with a safety catch? I tried to work the latch manually with a screwdriver but it would only click once. Any Idea's?

I'm guessing it's not that you are missing the plastic piece that goes around the bolt it latches onto since it is only clicking once anyway. But something to look at anyway if you haven't already. That got me on my passenger door for a while.
