Wiring Question
I am installing aftermarket power locks and windows on a my 93 F150. When I pulled out the drivers side kick panel I found a steel plate. I need run wires to the door and the plate is in the way. Is there any way to do this without removing the plate?

You might try finding a truck with factory power windows.My 96 does not have power windows but it does have factory speakers in the doors.The wires run thru a rubber bellows between the cab and door.Looks like it has enough room to hold window and lock wiring also.I think the wires are routed above the plate.
