electrical help. glow plug relay
i have a 99.5 california truck with the glow plug relay not glow plug module. on the relay there is a shunt(look in my gallery for pics) that splits left and ride side of the engine to test the glow plugs. coming off each post on this shunt is a brown(glow plug wire runs into valve covers) and a blue wire that runs to the pcm i believe, this wire tests the glow plugs on the side its connected to. anways im throwing
P1391 Glow Plug Circuit Low Input Bank No. 1(Right)
P1393 Glow Plug Circuit Low Input Bank No. 2 (Left)
codes and i want to knwo if there is a way to ground these blue wires so it doesnt throw the ses light. if i can get ride of the use of these blue wires i think it could help me narrow the possibilities of a faulty uvc harness. so if there are any electricians or goorus that might have an idea to tricking the pcm into thinking that all glow plugs are working so it doesnt throw this code. i will fix this problem eventually but seeing that its 85 here and just gettting hotter i really just want to get rid of the light so i can see if something more serious pops up. if i didnt explain what im trying to do let me know ill try to explain it more
