Aluminum Radiator Question?
I'm increasing the hp on my Bronco/460 with a new engine and with less hp it was marginal cooling it here in the desert using two pusher fans in front of the radiator, a seven blade mechanical fan and puller fan on the remote engine/oil coolers. As big a radiator as I could fit in, so capacity was the problem.
Has anyone here installed an aluminum radiator in their Bronco? The big block car crowd swears by them. Any advice as to manufacturers? Single or two tube? Epoxy seams or welded?

Aluminum Radiator Question?
Not sure of the year of your Bronco, but the stock radiator on my '94 was aluminum with plastic tanks. I have a friend with a '66 Mustang, and those cars have a hard time staying cool, even with a stock 289. He bought one of the BeCool radiators from Summit, and that thing looks really nice, and works very well. All his cooling problems are now gone. I would suggest the welded seams, as they are stronger than the aluminum itself. Be prepared to spend some money though. I think it ran my friend $550 for all he needed.

Aluminum Radiator Question?
I believe stock aluminum radiators are the conventional design. I'm was hoping someone had done the research for a Bronco application on the dual one inch core aftermarket designs, but it looks like I'll have to dig into it by sending inquiries to the various manufacturers. Thanks for the response.
