Hi Guys I used to come here years ago. My first visit mostly pertained to 5.0efi to 5.8efi swapping criteria for an 89 Bronco. And I recieved lots of usful information that made the job (almost) a peice of cake. And it still runs awesome and sounds badass (Flow-Tech headers, FlowmasterII's, Custom bent 3" piping coming out right in front of the back tires) And yes I have to crank the radio when crusin'.
Well I am back, not with a problem (yet anyways, knock on wood).
I just purchased a F-250 Lariat Super Cab 4WD w/6.0 diesel and OMG is it loaded to the gills!! Leather seats and all w/8700 miles on it. I am replacing a 97 F-250 Super Cab XLT Light Duty (yes the 7 lug version a real pain in the A$$) w/the 5.4efi it has 157000 miles on it and still pulled my 29' 7000lb camper with a fair amount of ease allthough it did struggle with West Virgina Mountians as I expected from a gas motor. But I figured Id replace it before I took another vacation to WVA started to pull another mountian and envisioned great amount of smoke emitting from my exhaust as did my 5.0 in said Bronco above pulling a pop-up camper at 137000 miles.
Anyways glad to be back loooking forward to good info SteelTaz1
You probably noticed how things have changed here but the overall set-up is the same. See if you can find your old friends here and enjoy your new F250!
